Computer Science for Experience Designers

What can be done to Integrate teaching how to craft / model social-emotional, cognitive experiences: with the intension of educating humans so we can unite and cooperate to find improved outcomes for all beings. Data Science should be able to show the vast gulf of abuses that have been stopped, All Beings can agree that no child should have to live in an abusive environment. Children deserve to feel safe, and to understand and express the quality of their own life. No Child should have to live in an abusive environment, given the massive amounts of data digital that is collected proceedurally every day. As AI research moves forward, it is a critical opportuity to promote child social-emotional learning and development. Children deserve to be protected from abuse. Any child who makes an outcry of abuse should have the right to query the goverment database about anyone accused of abuse. This system needs to be developed. How can AI, Machine-Learning, Technology be used to the benefit all children? We need to form the 'Not Them' movement...we can all agree that no child should have to live with an abuser. The Family Law systems must be transparant and accountable, they must insure that no professional in any field: psychology, particularly forensic psychology, legal, medical. Data Science and Analytics should be used to provide accountability statisitcs that need to be applied to all professionals, to insure that outcomes mirror statistically predicted rates. We know the magnitude of the issue, if any professional is strongly biased - across measures - their work can be analyzed by appropriate measures to verify logical validity of the decision. Rather than send a man to the moon, let's use science and technology to find solutions to improve the high rates of domestic child abuse, and domestic interpersonal violence. Victims should be protected...this is the priority. Data Science can show how the laws must be restructured to protect victims. As educational policies are being crafted that shove protections farther in favor of abusers, we must take action to impact social justice...to protect innocent victims of physical, verbal, sexual, emotional, cognitive abuse of our most vulnerable populations......the netagive outcomes that result from ACE have been documented...they should be used to design policies and technologies that can help protect victims......all victims deserve safety...even if the victim is the abuser...it is a long causal chain....it must be broken, data science, modeling, simulation, all fields must unite to improve outcomes for our most vulnerable. This becomes a million points of light....child abuse must be stopped, that must be the top priority for some group of researchers. What connections must be forged across disciplines before real progress occurs...Social - Legal Laws, Policies can be influenced, we have broadcast technology, how can it be used to protect children? Children are being abused every day. The cost to our country is staggering. What data can be gathered to protect the lives of children...how can this broken system be fixed. What data would indicate that child-abuse is prevalent. What technology could be used to monitor a child's environment...to insure any abusive experience is captured and can be used to protect the child's safety and wellbeing. Dive to the heart of a major societal issue, use the best and brightest to improve humanity. Crowdsource this. What org-structure can work to organize such an effort? Any improvement in outcomes for children....improves all of our lives....the universe is interconnected.....how can technology be used to harness the interconnected nature of humanity and used to guide processes to protect our most vulnerable populations? This may well be the most important universal problem to be solved. All beings: united to protect children. Who can't agree with that? Our Laws are causing problems for our most vulnerable....the fabric of society can be engineered, the levers should be health and wellbeing of the vulnerable. The rights and liberties of abusers should not be privileged over the rights and protections provided to the most vulnerable of all. The penal system and child-welfare system must be re-designed...they are severely broken - with the result being their behaviour exacerbates the problem. The family-law system's bias can be shown to be a root-cause of the child abuse epidemic. Anyone with the ability to determine child possession in the case of any type of child-abuse - must be held accountable for every child's life they destroy as they line their pockets with money of victim's family. It is the worst possible person in the world....the person that destroys a child's life for the benefit of their own wealth, power, ego. These are the levers...they are the problem....they must be stopped...they can be stopped. We must identify and account for all biases in victim-abuse legal cases.....Abusers have money, power, and they have found ways to use that to win legal possession and are emboldened to continue to abuse their children. This does not cross race or gender lines....the systemic biases are caused by racial and gender bias. Science must design improved systems for protecting victims from abuse.

This curriculum design reflects 2 courses in a sequence of 4 courses of Computer Science for art & design students.
The context of artistic, creative expression is used throughout both courses. Both courses aim to teach Modeling of information fundamentals in conjunction with structure, function, behavior of computational processes. While the course aims to teach programming-centric literacy, students modify provided code rather than code programs from scratch.
